1. Who is responsible

The app is developed and operated by Logi Way, the publisher of the app on the stores. For any privacy matter: yoni@accessible-roads.com.

2. What data is collected

Location (GPS)

• Requested in order to show you on the map and to route from where you are.
• Routing is computed on the device. Your location is not sent to our servers and is not stored by us.
• The app is fully usable without granting location access — the starting point is then Jaffa Gate.
• Your location reaches us in one case only: when you choose to submit an obstacle report, so that we know where the obstacle is.

Camera and photos

• Camera access is used solely to take a photo you choose to attach to an obstacle report.
• The app does not scan your photo library and does not access photos you did not select.

Obstacle report — sent only on your initiative, and containing:

• the report type and the coordinates of the point you marked;
• a free-text description you wrote — optional;
• a contact detail you entered (email or phone), if you want a reply — optional;
• a photo you attached — optional;
• the interface language the report was sent in.

Technical server data

• When the app downloads its data bundle or submits a report, our web server writes a standard access log entry containing the IP address, the time of the request and the resource requested. These logs are used for maintenance and security only.

3. What we do not do

• No user accounts and no sign-up. We do not know who you are.
• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No analytics, measurement, profiling or cross-app tracking SDKs of any kind.
• We do not sell data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.
• In normal use the app makes no requests to third-party servers — maps, fonts and data are served from our own infrastructure.

4. Data stored on your device

To work offline, the app stores on your device the data bundle (sites, maps and the path network), site photos, your favourites and saved routes, and your settings. This stays on the device, is not sent to us, and is removed completely when the app is uninstalled.

5. How submitted data is used

• Obstacle reports are passed to the accessibility team for review, handling and updating the accessibility data on the map.
• Once reviewed, a verified obstacle may appear on the map — without any reporter details.
• A contact detail you entered is used only to get back to you about that report.

6. Who data is shared with

• Cloud infrastructure provider (Amazon Web Services) — hosts our servers and database on our behalf, as a service provider only.
• Authorities and site owners — where handling an obstacle requires it, the obstacle's location and description are passed on. Contact details are not passed on without your consent.
• Map data is based in part on OpenStreetMap. No information about you is transferred to them.

7. Retention and deletion

Reports are retained for as long as they are needed for handling and for the accessibility history of that location. Contact details are deleted once the report is closed. You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of data you submitted, by writing to yoni@accessible-roads.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to the admin interface and the database is limited to authorised users and password protected. Backups run automatically and are stored encrypted.

9. Children

The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If such data reaches us it is deleted when discovered.

10. Changes to this policy

We will update this document at this address whenever there is a material change, and update the date at the top.
